The New Year’s Gathering hosted by Japan-Libya Friendship Association.

  The Japan-Libya Friendship Association hosted a gathering to celebrate the New Year on January 29th, 2015. Along with the members of the Association, Mr. Ahmed Own, the Ambassador of Libya, and the Embassy staff took part, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. At the party, speeches were given to express the depth of bilateral relations between Libya and Japan, and to show everybody’s aspiration to work towards strengthening the relation and opening new horizons of cooperation at various areas.

The event commenced with a speech given by Ms. KOIKE, member of the House of Representatives and the chairperson of Japan – Libya Friendship Association, followed by a speech by H.E Ambassador Own, Mr. MUKAI, Director of First Middle East Division and Mr. MIYAHARA, President of the Association, as everybody stressed the need to work closely to elevate relations at all levels.
