Ambassador Own’s Credential Ceremony

قدم السيد احمد عبد الكريم عون يوم الأربعاء الموافق 12/03/2014م، أوراق اعتماده سفيراً مفوضاً فوق العادة لدولة ليبيا لدى اليابان إلى الإمبراطور أكيهيتو؛ بحضور السيد اكيهيرو اوتا وزير البنية التحتية والنقل والمواصلات والسياحة، كما حضر مراسم تقديم أوراق الاعتماد السادة أعضاء السفارة. حيث قدم الإمبراطور التهنئة لسعادة السفير بمناسبة توليه هذا المنصب متمنياً لي التوفيق في مهام عمله.
كما أعرب الإمبراطور عن تمنياته لليبيا بالأمن والاستقرار وأن تنطلق قريباً في مسيرة بناء الدولة وأن ينعم شعبها بالأمان والازدهار، ومن جانبه قدم السفير عون الشكر لجلالة الإمبراطور على هذه المشاعر الطيبة تجاه ليبيا وشعبها، موضحاً له مسيرة ليبيا نحو بناء المؤسسات، ووضع الدستور، والمضي قدماً في اختيار برلمان ورئيس جديدين للبلاد، مؤكداً له بأن أمنيات جلالته ستتحقق بإذن الله في المستقبل القريب.
وبعد انتهاء مراسم تقديم أوراق الاعتماد تلقى السفير عون التهنئة من السيد أوتا وزير البنية التحتية بهذه المناسبة، حيث أعرب الوزير عن تطلعه للعمل معاً من أجل تمتين عرى الصداقة والتعاون بين الشعبين والبلدين الصديقين.
H.E. Mr. Ahmed A. S. OWN, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Libya to Japan presented his credentials to His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Akihito on Wednesday 12th of March. 6 diplomats from the Libyan Embassy in Tokyo were also present at the ceremony held at the Imperial Palace where His Imperial Majesty expressed congratulations to H.E. Mr. Own for the new assignment, and wished him success in performing his duties.
His Imperial Majesty expressed hopes for Libya to achieve security and stability, commence rebuilding efforts, and for the Libyan people to live in peace and prosperity.
The Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the kind words His Imperial Majesty mentioned in fevour of Libya and its people, and introduced to His Majesty efforts towards building institutions, drafting the constitution and moving forward to elect a new parliament and president for the country, stressing that hopes of His Imperial Majesty will be achieved in the near future.
After the ceremony the Ambassador received congratulations from H.E. Mr. Akihiro OHTA, Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism who noted that he is looking forward to working together towards strengthening relations of friendship and cooperation between both friendly countries and people.
