The Libyan Ambassador to Japan presented the copy of Credential to MOFA

On February 28^th 2014, Mr. Ahmed A. S. OWN presented a copy of his credential as the Libyan Ambassador to Japan to Mr. Akitaka SAIKI, Vice – Minister for Foreign Affairs, in the presence of Mr. Shigeyuki HIROKI, Chief of Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mr. Yoichi MIKAMI, Senior Regional Coordinator, Middle East Division, Middle East and North African Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

H. E. Mr. Saiki, Vice – Minister conveyed H. E. Mr. OWN that Japan is pleased by this designation, and that they are looking forward to working together towards further developing relations between the two friendly countries, recalling the meeting held last June on the sidelines of TICAD V between Ministers of Foreign Affairs of both countries.

H. E. Mr. OWN praised such constructive spirit of cooperation, highly commended such desire and emphasized that he himself and his diplomatic staff at the Embassy will make their utmost efforts to develop relations between both countries and move them forward into broader areas.
