نظم تحالف الابحاث لشمال أفريقيا بجامعة تسوكوبا Alliance of Research on North Africa (ARENA) ندوته الخاصة في دورتها العاشرة يوم الجمعة الموافق 07/02/2014 م، والتي كان موضوعها “اكتشاف البذور والمصادر نحو تاسيس مركز اختراعات في منطقة شمال أفريقيا والبحر المتوسط (Exploring Seeds and Resources toward Establishment of center of Innovation in North Africa and Mediterranean Region) بمشاركة باحثين من ليبيا، الجزائر، فرنسا، المغرب، الأردن، مصر، تونس.
وكانت مشاركة ليبيا بعرض ضوئي قدمه الدكتور حاتم مصطفى عميد كلية الهندسة بجامعة الزاوية؛ تناول فيه واقع التعليم والبحث العلمي بعد 2011مركزاً بالخصوص على أن للتعليم في هذه المرحلة، ثلاثة أدوار ينبغي أن يقوم بها، أولها: التعليم، ثانيها البحث العلمي، وثالثها المساهمة في تحقيق النمو والتطور عن طريق خدمة البيئة والمجتمع، مشخصاً في الوقت ذاته معوقات الوصول إلى هذا المسعى. وقد تفاعل الجمهور الحاضر مع هذا العرض وطرح العديد من الأسئلة التي تنم عن إدراك ومعرفة بمجريات الأمور في المنطقة إجمالا وليبيا تحديداً.
On the occasion of the 10th Anniversary of the Alliance of Research on North Africa (ARENA), Tsukuba University organized a special seminar on “Exploring Seeds and Resources toward Establishment of Center of Innovation in North Africa and Mediterranean Region” on February 7th 2014. Participants were mainly researchers from Libya, Algeria, France, Morocco, Jordan, Egypt and Tunisia.
Libya participated the seminar and gave a presentation by Prof. Hatem MUSTAFA, Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Al-Zawiya University covering the status of education and scientific research after 2011. It is focused on three roles of education which should play at present;
First role: Education,
Second role: Scientific research,
Third role: Contributing to achieve growth and development through environment and society.
At the same time he cited obstacles that impede achieving such a goal.
Audiences actively interacted to the presentation and asked many questions indicating that they have good knowledge of regional situations in general and Libya in particular.
