(Press Release) Meeting with a member of Council of Kamakura city

In order to promote exchanges between Kamakura city and Libya, Mr. Norihiro UEHARA, member of Council of Kamakura city accompanied by Mr. Amane KOBAYASHI, Media and Governance department of Keio Research Institute SFC, visited the Embassy of Libya, Tokyo to have meeting with First Secretary of the Embassy.  

Mr. Uehara expressed his wish to cooperate with Libya as a first step in order to enhance cooperation and exchange between Kamakura city and other cities of the Arab world.  

First Secretary of the Embassy welcomed the initiative expressing his strong will to implement it as early as possible.  

Both sides noted their hopes to continue holding such meetings aiming to put into practice ideas that were discussed during this meeting.
